Check out Bingo Luau, the free Bingo game with a tropical twist!

It's a day at the beach in Bingo Luau – Pogo's free, tropical themed bingo game. While relaxing in the Pogo Tiki Hut, match the pattern on your Bingo cards before anyone else calls “BINGO”. The goal of the game is to mark enough numbers to match the pattern in the upper left corner, before anyone else does! Enjoy the feel of a Hawaiian luau while you compete to be the first person to call BINGO in this fun casino game!

B1 Prediction
At the beginning of this casino game, each player has the opportunity to predict when the B1 ball will be drawn. If you predict correctly, you earn a token bonus.

Called Bingo Balls
Every time a number is called, that number will be displayed at the center of the screen. The five most recently called balls will appear to the right of the Called Balls table.

Multiple Bingo Patterns
In this casino game, there are many patterns in Bingo Luau, and these patterns change from game to game. You must match all the numbers in the displayed pattern and those numbers must be marked correctly on your Bingo card.

5 Ways to Win Tokens
There are five different ways to earn tokens in Bingo Luau! Bingos and Extra Bingos, Daubing Squares correctly marked, Team Bonus, B1 Prediction and Jackpot Spin.

Everyone starts this casino game with a set of 3 Bingo cards. These cards will have highlighted squares that match the pattern for the current game. At the beginning of a game, each player has the opportunity to predict when the B1 ball will be drawn. If you predict correctly, you earn a token bonus. If you predict incorrectly, you lose nothing, and can try again next game. The later predictions are worth more tokens because they are less likely to occur. If the B1 ball doesn't get drawn in a game, no prediction bonus is awarded.

Marking Your Bingo Cards
A letter goes along with each number to help you find the numbers on your card more quickly.
Letter B: numbers 1-15, left column on your Bingo cards.
Letter I: numbers 16-30, second to left column on your Bingo cards.
Letter N: numbers 31-45, middle column on your Bingo cards.
Letter G: numbers 46-60, second to right column on your Bingo cards.
Letter O: numbers 61-75, right column on your Bingo cards.

The numbers can appear in any order within a column, but the numbers 1-15 will always be in the B column, numbers 16-30 will always be in the I column, numbers 31-45 will always be in the N column, etc.

The square in the center is labeled "FREE", and you can mark that square at any time.

If you move your mouse over a number on your bingo card, a faint shadow of a daub will appear on the square if that number has been called this game. If you join mid-game or get distracted, using this technique will make it easier to catch up.

Claiming Bingo
If you match the pattern, click on the Bingo button for the card that has the match. This will register your Bingo claim and confirm that you correctly marked your card. If you submit an incorrect Bingo claim, you will receive a warning and the game will continue. If you submit three incorrect claims in one game, you forfeit all tokens and spin progress that you would have earned that game. If you call the first bingo on the same ball as someone else, the token award is shared among everyone who called bingo on that ball. Your share is proportional to the number of first bingos that you called.

Here are some additional pointers designed to help you become a more advanced Bingo Luau player.

You can choose from the following game variations:
Regular Pace
Speedy Pace
Super Speedy Pace

3 Cards
3 Cards
3 Cards

3 Card Blackout
3 Card Blackout
3 Card Blackout
The pace of the game is listed on the top tabs on the Bingo Luau room selector page. The type of game (3-cards or 3-card Blackout) is listed on the lower tabs. Choose the speed and type of game that's right for you simply by clicking on the appropriate tabs, and then entering a room. In the 3 card Blackout games (also known as Coverall), you must cover every square to get Bingo

Extra Balls
After the first person calls Bingo in a game, five extra balls are drawn to give everyone else a change to get Bingo. A bingo called during the Extra Balls phase is worth less tokens than the first bingo of the game. Even if multiple players call bingo on the same extra ball, each player is awarded the full Extra Bingo token value (unlike the first bingo value, which is shared among everyone who calls the first bingo.)

Bingo Luau • Negative Posts and Complaints about Pogo on the Forums

By pogo_Maul » May 11th, 2012, 6:02 pm

Due to the many current issues affecting members game play the Pogo Forums are receiving a lot of negative and unconstructive feedback. We are aware of the issues largely related to those unhappy with Embedded Game Pages (EGP), whether it be the design/lack of Pop-ups, or Games loading slowly, not able to continue after one game, or simply not loading at all. We are researching those issues and hope to have solutions in the coming weeks.

Because of the many current, common, and overly repeated complaints, and threats of unsubscribing we are simply going to remove or consolidate such posts as they simply are over burdening our Forum’s community in general. I would like to be clear, we are not ignoring these complaints and the issues that are triggering them. We are simply trying to maintain the forums as a relatively peaceful place where members can communicate in a positive and constructive manner.

Our Mods are here trying to help. If they remove a post it is because they are following Pogo’s and EA’s guidelines. If they feel for any reason that a post is negative or may incite negative responses they are well within their given powers to remove such a post.

Bingo Luau • Pogo is listening! :)

By pogo_Maul » May 10th, 2012, 6:30 pm

We know a lot of our members, Free and Club, have been having various ongoing and continuous issues with using our site for the last several weeks and month. We are working hard to try and narrow down the causes of these wide ranging problems.

The Game Loading and not being able to continue after playing a game are two of the largest issues that we are researching right now. We have been working directly with a few members to try and narrow down the symptoms and possible resolutions.

We have found a few things so far that are preventing players from normal game play, including certain browser add-ons and security settings. In many cases simply resetting the browser to its default settings and disabling add-ons that are not necessary for playing our games will resolve the problem.

We are still gathering information and as we do so, we will try to figure out if there are any adjustments we can make on our end so that these settings and add-ons do not interfere with people’s ability to play on Pogo. In some cases we may need to provide our users with more details on how they can make adjustments on their end so that they can continue playing. More details and information will be provided as they become more solid.

In addition to that, we also continue to look into the issues with Pop-up Game Windows, not being able to purchase Gems, various abuse issues, as well as new and old bugs.

We understand that these last few months with changes to our site, games, and EA Support have been very trying and we are indeed working to improve the experience for our fans. We greatly appreciate your patience.

note: I have locked this post because the issues mentioned are already being discussed by you and our other members in existing topics.

That advice would be great if the tabs only worked. Not having played this since they embedded it, I made the mistake of choosing it for a weekly challenge.
Okay, I choose the super-speedy and blackout. I get super-speedy, but not blackout, can't get blackout tab to work by any form of manipulation. So, tonight I notice a forum post mentioning using the search function to find a sharing room, which made me realise how few room choices were posted, with no other option than the search to find the rest. So, if you know what room you want, it's all good, but if you'd like to browse the whole list, forget it.
So anyway, I choose a sharing room to get blackout, but it's slow-slow-slowwwwwwwwwwwwww, so I leave and figure I'd rather have pattern and super-speedy than sleep-inducing speed. Trouble is, now any game I enter, no matter what tab I choose, is deadly slow.
Also, there's nothing that shows you the name of the room you're in any more, not even in the address bar.

Why in blazes do they have to make everything so difficult now, if not downright impossible??? Whatever happened to clicking on a game and simply clicking "play now" or having the full choice of options right at your fingertips? Why do we have to jump through such hoops, after trying to guess what and where those hoops even are?
